I started photography because I did not want to forget things. The way a day feels. The tiny moments that disappear too fast.
Then I photographed a wedding and something clicked. I loved all of it. The nerves before the ceremony. The chaos of everyone getting ready. The big obvious moments, but especially all the little ones happening around them.
The hand squeeze nobody else noticed. Someone trying really hard not to cry. Your best friend fixing your dress. Your parents watching you when you aren't looking.
I realized pretty quickly that those are the photos I care about most. Not because the pretty portraits don't matter, because they absolutely do. I just want you to have both.
I want you to have the photos you frame and the ones that make you say, "Oh my god, I didn't even know you caught that."
